It means stop, put on your brake, switch off the engine, take your foot off the accelerator basically do whatever but STOP
however women need to be careful too where they place their STOP signs
a stop sign is always before advancing from a minor road to a major, cause you need to be cautious check for danger before u proceed but once you hit the freeway/motorway ..........there is a reason why the state department is yet to install stop signs on freeways, simple reason being at the speed cars are most likely to be travelling either they will not be seen early enough or simply ignored. (enough said)
